My Weight Loss - Day 18

Today I wanted to find something new to do for a workout. Something like Zumba, just a new video or workout. In my search, I came across http://dailyburn.com/  and I signed up for the free trial. "The Daily Burn - Move!" is daily workout routines using all sorts of different types of dance. Hip Hop, Club, Bollywood, Latin, etc. Today I did a Club workout. I burned 400 calories during the 35 minute workout. It even shows you throughout the workout how many calories you've burned based on your personal information you've put into your account.

After the 30-day trial, it is only $10/month. That's not very much considering the wide variety of workouts they provide. I will be finishing out the 30 days to give all of the dances a try.

In addition to "Move!" (the dance program), there is yoga, inferno (intense workout), tactical bodyweight training (your body is your gym- no equipment), 15 (fit in 15 days, 15 workouts, 15 minutes each), cardio sculpt, recover (mobility workouts), intelliburn (a personalized plan that learns from your strengths and weaknesses, and DBK (kettlebell workout). When you choose a program, daily burn sets up a schedule for you and what you should complete each day.

So far today, I did really well calorie-wise. And with the calories I just burned, I should have a couple hundred spare calories even after dinner! Watching what I am eating and working out is really becoming easier and easier and part of my daily routine. I don't mind it at all.
