Lea is back from Comic-Con!

Taylor’s Wedding:

Patrick and Chloe ended up staying in the honeymoon suite in a big, fancy house-much better than sleeping in the SUV! They ended up giving a personal gift. Chloe called in and helped with the recap of the wedding. Patrick said that Taylor was breathtakingly beautiful, but Chloe came in second! Patrick was looking good also-he received lots of compliments about his attire.

The wedding was very classy and beautiful. It was a very hot day in the Hamptons, so the ladies were given umbrellas for shade. Guests were given wine to sip on while they listened to a string trio. Patrick said there were lots of “take your breath away” moments, and it was a picture perfect event. If you haven’t seen any pictures yet, check them out! Victoria posted some on her face book page. Congrats to Tay and Brett!

Comic-Con Recap

This was Lea’s second time attending the event, and she said that she has a better grip on it now. Comic-Con now has quite a bit of pop culture mixed in with the comic book stuff. Lea had three events that she wanted to see: Chuck, Big Bang Theory, and Scott Pilgrim. She missed all but Scott Pilgrim, but also got to interview the cast of Community. Lea went to the Maxim party, and said that celeb parties are boring. Celebrity sightings at the party: members of the True Blood cast, and Kellan Lutz. Lea’s favorite part of Comic-Con was the Scott Pilgrim event.

Past Relationships

Studies show that 20% of people are still in love with an ex. In this day and age, your past isn’t really your past, now that social networking plays such a large part in our lives. Are you still in love with an ex? Do you worry that your partner is still in love with an ex?

Dawn from GA called and said that she stays in contact with her ex. They saw each other last year, and all of the old romantic feelings came back. They went away for the weekend, but she knew that they would never work out. Dawn appreciates the sweet, happy memories, but is glad that she didn’t settle for him.

Jake called to say that he contacts his ex two to three times each month. He is in a relationship. That was then, and this is now, although those old feelings do come back at times.

Jack from Florida had his heart broken 20 years ago by an ex. He is married, but found his ex on linked in and face book. He had a lot of unresolved feelings and emotions toward her. They met up and went away for four nights in another city. He realized he didn’t even like her now, and he no longer has any feelings toward her. His wife knows nothing of this.

Patrick said “Nostalgia is fleeting and can be misleading.” Excellent quote!

Words of Wisdom with Lucas

Lucas was asked “When you listen to music, is it for the lyrics or the beats?” He said that when he began writing his own music, he became more interested in lyrics. He likes songs that have higher lyrical integrity. Check out some tunes that Lucas wrote! http://www.myspace.com/seniorprojectband08
