I don't know how everyone else felt, but to me, it seemed like there had to be some sort of ulterior motive for Bentley Williams to act the way he did to Ashley on The Bachelorette.
Reportedly, before appearing on The Bachelorette, Bently was close to reconciling with his ex wife Suzette Davis, the mother of his daughter. They were married for two years, and divorced in 2009. A friend of Suzette's revealed to OK! Magazine that Suzette was shocked to learn he had signed up for the Bachelorette. When confronted, Bentley convinced her that he was only going on the show to promote his business, and that he wouldn't "kiss Ashley or be a disappointment to the family," according to the friend. When he did act like he liked Ashley, as well as kiss her, the friend said "Suzette was heartbroken and betrayed".
